The Simplest Professional Resume Writing Process

Do you need help writing a resume? When you hire me to develop your resume and career advancement strategy, you receive more than 30 hours of top quality, behind-the-scenes research and writing from a credentialed expert in professional resume writing and human resources.

1) Once you’ve completed secure checkout by PayPal and purchased the resume package that’s right for you, an easy questionnaire about your work history will be emailed to you within 12 hours. This lets me gather facts on your experience and goals. I will also ask for a recent resume and address any questions you have. For your convenience, this initial phase is handled completely electronically.

2) I will evaluate your needs and contact you by email to ask any follow-up questions. In complex cases, I may request a telephone consultation at no cost to you. You can also request a phone consultation any time you have questions or concerns. These last about half an hour and are conducted completely around your schedule.

3) Work begins on your resume, cover letter, and other services you selected as soon as your questionnaire is complete. Within seven days, drafts of your resume and cover letter will be provided by email. I use your feedback to further craft the documents until you are completely thrilled with the results. If you are not happy, I am not done!

Your resume strongly influences the strategy, format, and wording of other services you order: those services will be delivered no more than seven days from your approval of a finalized resume.

Typical turnaround is 7 days for resumes and 12 days total for orders that include additional services. If you have purchased multiple services such as a LinkedIn profile or company research, I will establish a timeline for delivery during my first contact with you by email.
